In an effort to assist establish the next crop of reporters working to keep the world notified, informed and entertained, we have created the Google Journalism Fellowship. As a business devoted to making the world's info easily available, Google acknowledges that behind a lot of blue links is a journalist and that high quality journalism is a key component of a vibrant and working society.
The program is focuseded on journalism, undergraduate and graduate students interested in utilizing innovation to tell stories in new and vibrant methods. The Fellows will obtain the chance to spend the summertime contributing to a variety of organizations-- from those that are soaked in investigative journalism to those working for press flexibility around the world and to those that are assisting the market figure out its future in the digital age.
There will be a concentration on data driven journalism, on-line free of charge expression and reconsidering the business of journalism. The 10-week long Fellowship will open with a week at Google complied with by nine weeks at one of the taking part organizations.
